Activities at The National Sea Scout Centenary Jamboree

Plans for a huge range of activities are falling into shape nicely, including lots on the water (sailing, kayaking, white-water rafting, powerboating, windsurfing, rowing and pulling, and water-skiing) and lots on the land. It is anticipated that every youngster will get the opportunity to enjoy some form of water activity for part of every day. All water based activities are open to all Scouts attending the Jamboree, with the exception of the white water course which has a minimum age limit of 14 years. This is to comply with the activity centers insurers.

A few of the most popular activities will be pre-ticketed, others will be simply turn up and have a go. It is hoped by this approach that the system will be flexible enough to enable all the youngsters to have a go at everything that they would like during the course of the event.

This is your Jamboree so if you have any suggestions for activities or you would like to help please contact the Activity Team.
